James brings extensive venture capital and financial advisory experience, combining technical rigour with a sharp instinct for what excites investors. He has sourced and executed deals across a wide range of sectors, served on an investment committee and held multiple board roles – working closely with founders to prepare for subsequent fundraises.

Having trained as a Chartered Accountant at EY in the Valuations team, he developed a strong understanding of what drives business value and investor confidence. Drawing on this experience and from reviewing hundreds of pitch decks, James helps founders articulate their story with clarity, evidence and conviction.
